PVC Barrier Tape – 2″

Create a moisture-preventing seal throughout your glycol chilling system with this PVC barrier tape. Just wrap it around your glycol lines and any exposed connections and the PVC tape will provide system-sustaining insulation while fighting the evils of condensation.

For the majority of long draw or commercial draft beer systems, especially those running 6 or more beer lines or draft systems running over 15 feet, a glycol chiller is recommended. This system implements a separate chiller that uses the power of glycol to move beer further distances, while still keeping it cold from keg to tap. Propylene glycol, a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze, is the main component that’s been used for many years in food-processing systems.

Propylene glycol is combined with water to create a chilled mixture that’s pumped from the through the cooling lines that run parallel to your beer lines. One way to maintain the ideal cool temperature of your glycol and beer lines is to wrap them in this 2″ wide tape, available in a 108-foot-long roll.

Wrap it around your glycol trunk lines and any exposed connections to limit damaging moisture build-up and ensure prime performance of your draft setup.
